This is a book I finished up a few months ago, but am just now getting around to posting something about it. It’s a non-fiction history lesson basically, explaining in great detail about Bin Laden, where he came from and how he came to be how he is today. It also explains a lot about why his people look up to him as they do. It was a long yet fascinating book that really helped explain the whole Extremist Islamic Movement.

Oh, and by the way, the Islamic terrorists are just that, terrorists, not “insurgents”. Although I didn’t need this book to tell me that.

I posted the rest of the story, Hiding From The Moon for anyone who wants to read it. Be warned, it’s in the Horror genre and although I don’t think it’s super scary or anything, I thought I would preface that it’s not a happy sunshine warm summer in the park kind of story.

I have a story that I wrote that I wanted to share, so I decided to post it in segments. I’ll be putting it up in chapters, one or more at a time, whatever strikes me at the time. It’s called Hiding From The Moon and it’s a Werewolf tale that goes down the horror path. If you are in the mood for something along those lines, take a look and see. The first part/intro is up now.

Welp, for all you visitors that stop by here (yep, both of you!), I decided I am going to back fill some content on this sight. Back fill? What does that mean, you ask? Well, I have some (mainly) music that has been kicking around for years now that I am going to add to the site. Some of it is old stuff, some more recent, and some people who know me have already heard it. I thought this would be a good place to put it though, since I will be adding newer stuff as I get it finished. I’ll be tossing some song lyrics and stuff up here too.

The Waste Lands

Well, I finally finished The Drawing Of The Three and am now working on book 3 of the Dark Tower series called The Waste Lands. The first and second books have been awesome, although unlike anything I have read by King previously. So, if you are a die hard King fan like me, be prepared for something different. Great, but different.

This is one I am working on now, as of post date. This is book two of the Dark Tower series and it’s very good so far. Starts off quick, dropping you into the action and hasn’t let up yet. I don’t want to give anything away, but great twists and turns. Five more after this one to complete the series, but so far I recommend it highly.

The Gunslinger

I am an avid Stephen King fan, and so far I have truly enjoyed everything I have read by him. Some authors I run the gambit, some books I dig, some not as much. King, however, has been pretty darn consistent. The Gunslinger is the first book in the dark tower series. Great story, but it took me a few pages to get in sync with the style of the book. Once I was there, it was awesome.
