Author I am an avid Stephen King fan, and so far I have truly enjoyed everything I have read by him. Some authors I run the gambit, some books I dig, some not as much. King, however, has been pretty darn consistent. The Gunslinger is the first book in the dark tower series. Great story, but it took me a few pages to get in sync with the style of the book. Once I was there, it was awesome.
